This light is an exploration in bio-mimicry. The Martinelli's Apple Juice bottle, a wonderfully abstracted apple, hangs from a stylized branch. The light pattern emanating from the apple, reminiscent of mammalian breathing, represents its life force. When the apple is removed from the branch, it suffers a violent death. But it is just a light. Putting back on the branch resurrects it and restarts the cycle.
